Syrian Revolution News Round-up  Day 37: Wednesday, 20 April 2011

Intimidation vs. Defiance!Protests continue in the face of increasing intimidation. Deraa, Banyas and Homs garner attention, but all hopes hinge on moving Aleppo and Damascus.

Today, Assad’s militias-cum-mercenaries known as the Shabbiha drove around the streets of Lattakia and Jable sticking their Kalashnikovs out of car windows and shouting sectarian pro-Assad slogans. Meanwhile, security forces conducted large-scale raids of key neighborhoods, i.e. ones that played key-role in the protest movements, especially Al-Sleibeh, culminating in over 200 arrests. In Jableh, thousands of residents held new nightly vigil and chanted anti-Shabbiha slogans.

Meanwhile, Homs continues to be in a defiant mood, despite the severity of the security-led crackdown over the last few days. A large demonstration with over 3,000 participants reportedly took place outside the Nouri Mosque following the Afternoon prayer. No security intervention was reported. Most shops remains closed in mourning. The nearby town of Talbisseh continues to be under siege, but the people managed to protect their neighborhoods from armyand security forces, by burning tires and blocking main entrance into town, as it continues to mourn her dead.

Daraa cities and towns held many protests and vigils in support of Homs and Banyas. So, did the Damascene suburb of Darayyah. It is amazing how peaceful and infiltrators-free protests can be when security forces and Assad militias are not around.

The security chief of the Banyas, whom many blame for the shameful episode in Baydah was reportedly fired from his post, but local residents continue their campaign to paint over all sayings by Assad plastered on city walls.

But and because much rides on its decision to take part in the protests or keep its quiet, today’s Kudos goes to Aleppo where students at the University of Aleppo held a brief on-campus protest before they were dispersed by security officers chanting pro-Assad slogans. Many arrests followed.

The treatment of SYRIAN people/ YEMEN as BAHRAIN
etc etc is dire. All now treated as PALESTINIANS.

Having no rights/no longer seen as as human beings
herded treated as animals / as sheep to be fleeced
children but treated as lamb lead to the slaughter.

Such be the result of an long anti muslim campaign
by the western media which being to justify a need
of a USA standing ARMY of hundreds of thousands/as
a civilian army/those whom sustaining the needs of
the military forces & arms dealers/pushing for war
the supply of arms bringing contracts of $billions.

An USA military the nations biggest employer / thus
so many depending upon it for their employment / as
of their career. / Its roots go deeply into that of
politics / politicians maintaining military numbers
preventing high unemployment / not wishing mob rule.

The media in diverting the people’s anger from Govts
& direct such peope’s anger upon others // presently
the OTHERS being the muslim race // the treatment of
muslims growing ever more unto more horrific actions
horrific acts that now be on open display in BAHRAIN
    YEMEN / SYRIA / EGYPT / JORDAN / PAKISTAN / ect / ect

However ( not normal ) one must give the USA as other
western forces THANKS for their actions in LYBIA / if
they turned their backs on the people of LYBIA /if in
having closed their eyes ears to the cries of help as
coming from LYBIA /then there would have followed in
LYBIA a human slaughter / at a scale as beyond belief.

The LYBIAN people having stood up against a brutal mad
tyrant/dictator /stood against his murderious henchmen
and marched in open protest //in calling for democracy
in calling for freedom from fear // that they are able
to voice an opinion / able facing a day free from fear
after decades /silenced in fear/ they call for freedom.

Of course the dictators / tyrants in having reacted as
    expected. // Being / YEMEN / SYRIA / EGYPT / PALESTINE
as BAHRAIN /people whom dared stand agin their masters
    now face appalling brutallity //beaten as/tortured /to
death /thousands shown no mercy /having been shot dead
tens of thousands wounded/as in BAHRAIN many PREVENTED
getting medical treatment /are simply left to die. The
Middle East a horror story/that turning to a nightmare.

Did the USA / Western Nation wish the present outcome ?
the answer must be NO they did not. / The western media
made to cause deceit / to divide / gaining political as
worldly power // yet its intention / was never bringing
in causing the present horror / death being in hundreds
of thousands/ in acts of appalling injustice inhumanity.

The USA Govt as the Govts of western nations must return
to their senses restoring international as domestic laws
abide by the law in curtailing the worst of human nature.

The present lack for human life /// is as an moral cancer
over time the heart having closed/ where the mind allowed
in running riot./ Thus one must again open the heart unto
compassion / justice / love // returning the light upon a
dark world. An world humanity blinded by greed / lust for
power so strong / it blinds & deafens one unto light love.

Govts must open their hearts / unto their fellow brothers
sisters. Humanity one family division but brings all pain.
